1) Products
• The description/images of products are intended for giving an approximate idea of the product available. Lumea does not accept responsibility for any discrepancies between the online description and the actual product. If, upon receipt, a customer is not satisfied they can return the unused item(s) in the original packaging within 14 days of delivery to Lumea for a full refund. A customer must have first obtaining a returns authorisation number from Lumea before returning items to our warehouse. Please see the cancellation/returns section below and our Returns page.
• Lumea reserves the right to change products or product details available on this website at any time.
• Products intended for business use only (Liquid Wax Candles) can only be sold to business customers. This is a legal requirement. Lumea reserves the right to cancel a customer's order if we believe that the customer is not legally entitled to buy certain items. In such cases, we will refund any money taken.
• All products are subject to availability. We will accept back orders for products that are out-of-stock and will notify the customer of this. Customers may cancel an order if products are not available.
• As a result of continuing product development and improvement, the specification or design of goods may vary over time. Lumea endeavours to keep this website up-to-date, but some variation from the images/description shown online is possible.
• Lumea reserves the right to discontinue a product at any time.
2) Delivery
• If orders are placed before 3pm Monday - Friday, goods will usually be delivered on the next working day for the UK mainland. However, next day delivery is not guaranteed. * Our headline offer is our intended delivery service to the UK mainland and cannot be guaranteed. See our delivery policy for further details. Always allow at least 5 working days for delivery to the UK mainland.
• Orders for UK outer regions (highlands, islands & Northern Ireland) will usually be delivered within 7-10 working days. There is a surcharge applicable. Please see our Delivery Guide.
• A minimum order value is applicable for FREE delivery. Please see our Delivery Guide for details.
• If delivery is urgent, please contact Customer Services (Monday - Friday 9am-5.30pm) to see if we can fulfil your delivery requirements. A surcharge for special delivery requirements may be applicable.
• Any delay in delivery will not entitle the customer to cancel the order. Lumea is not liable for any failure or delay in delivery, if it is due to an event beyond our reasonable control (including without limitation, national holidays, strike action, adverse weather conditions and transport failure).
• The customer must ensure someone is on-site to accept and sign for delivery. Any signature taken to accept delivery is binding. If delivery is not possible because no-one is on-site to accept delivery, the customer may be liable for the aborted delivery cost and re-delivery.
• The customer must supply accurate address details when ordering. If address details are incorrect and this results in a delivery not being successful the customer is liable for the aborted delivery cost and re-delivery.
• Upon a delivery being signed for by the customer, the customer accepts the risk and responsibility for the goods. If purchased upon a Lumea credit account the goods remain the property of Lumea until the account is settled in full. The customer takes on the risk and responsibility for the goods only, not ownership. If the customer does not make payment within 30 days for the goods, Lumea reserves the right to request the return of its goods and compensation for any used/damaged goods.
• If a customer refuses delivery for whatever reason, without having given Lumea reasonable notice (at least 24 hours), the customer will be liable for all abortive delivery costs.
• Lumea may make partial deliveries when required.
• The quantity within a consignment of goods recorded by Lumea upon despatch is considered evidence of the quantity received by the customer upon delivery, unless the customer can provide conclusive evidence to the contrary.
• Lumea is not liable for the non-delivery of goods, unless given notice by the customer within 7 days of the anticipated delivery date. Lumea will thereafter seek confirmation of non-delivery from the courier. Lumea's liability for the non-delivery of goods is limited to replacing the goods ordered within a reasonable period of time or issuing a credit/refund.
• If any goods received by the customer have been damaged during transit, the customer must inform Lumea of such damage within 3 days of delivery. Replacements or refunds for damaged goods will not be possible if Lumea has not been informed within 3 days of delivery.
3) Cancellation/Returns
• Once an order has been submitted online it can only be cancelled by contacting Lumea via phone or email. Leaving phone/email messages cancelling an order does not constitute acknowledgement of the order cancellation by Lumea.
• If you are cancelling an order you must give reasonable notice (at least 24 hours). Cancellation of your order will be confirmed in writing by Lumea.
• If returning an order you must first contact Lumea on 0845 601 7532 to obtain a returns authorisation number. Lumea will not accept returns without this number. For further details on our Returns policy, please see our Returns page.
• Lumea reserves the right to impose an administration/delivery charge on all returns, due to the high cost of carriage and handling.
• Goods ordered online will be accepted for return entirely at Lumea's discretion, within 14 days of delivery to the customer providing that the goods are unused, in perfect condition and in the original packaging. Return of goods that are unwanted/unsuitable is at the customer's expense - please see our Returns page for full details and charges.
• If goods are being returned because they are damaged/faulty/incorrect, Lumea will cover the cost of return carriage. Please see our Returns page for full details.
4) Warranty
• All products sold by Lumea come with a 12 month guarantee from the date of purchase.
• This guarantee does not cover failure to use a product in accordance with our usage guidelines, breakages, accidental damage, theft or general ‘wear and tear' as a result of use.
• This guarantee does not cover products that have been purchased on a Lumea credit account and have yet to be paid for in full. In this instance, please contact Customer Services on 0845 601 7532.
• If a customer has a Lumea product that fails during its warranty period, please contact Customer Services on 0845 601 7532.
• Lumea's liability for product failure during the 12 month warranty is limited to the repair and/or replacement of the product. Lumea will cover carriage costs. Please see our Returns page for further details.
5) Prices
• The price payable for Lumea products is set out on this website at the time a customer places an order. These prices are applicable for online ordering only. Product pricing is shown exclusive of VAT and delivery. The customer will pay VAT and any applicable delivery charge in addition to the product price when they are due to pay for the order.
• Lumea reserves the right to change the advertised price or applicable discount at any time.
6) Lumea credit account terms
• Lumea credit account customers can order online and charge to their credit account once their credit account number has been verified (this usually takes 1 working day).
• If a credit account is not verified by Lumea for any reason, a credit account customer will not be able to order and pay by invoice and will have to make payment by credit/debit card.
• All online orders charged to a verified Lumea credit account are dependant on the account not exceeding its set credit limit. If an account has exceeded its credit limit it will be put on 'hold' and the online order will not be processed until outstanding invoices have been settled. Email confirmation that an order charged to a Lumea credit account has been placed on the website does not guarantee that the credit account has sufficient credit for the order to be processed and despatched.
• Lumea reserves the right not to process or despatch an order where there is insufficient credit available on the credit account to cover the order value placed.
• Lumea reserves the right not to process or despatch an order where there are outstanding invoices on the credit account.
• Lumea reserves the right to place any credit account on 'hold' or cancel the credit agreement at any time without notice.
• Goods supplied by Lumea on credit remain the property of Lumea until they are paid for in full. The credit account customer takes on the risk and responsibility for the goods upon signing for their delivery, but not ownership until the invoice is paid in full.

Accuracy of information
Lumea endeavours to ensure that all information contained on this website is accurate and not misleading. Therefore, Lumea reserves the right, without obligation, to amend or delete product information without notice.
Account password
On registration, a customer will submit a password which is thereafter required to access their Lumea online account. The customer is at all times responsible for the security of this password. We recommend that you do not disclose your password to anyone else, do not write it down and that you change it on a regular basis. Lumea is not liable for any loss of privacy or security resulting from a customer's misuse or negligence with their password.
Payment gateway security
All payments taken on this website are through Sage Pay's secure payment gateway. This is PCI DSS compliant secure server. Your personal and card details are kept secure at all times. An online authorisation will be required (this serves in effect of a PIN). We recommend you do not authorise anyone else to use your card to make online payments, keep your card in a safe place at all times and do not write down or disclose your online payment password to anyone else. However, Lumea is not liable for any loss of privacy or security resulting from a customer's negligence with their card details or online payment password. Customer use
The information on this website is intended solely for the customer. Lumea does not authorise the use of such information for any other purpose. Lumea prohibits, to the maximum extent allowable by law, the resale, redistribution and use of this information for commercial purposes.
